ProjectRooftop 2-24-11

In an attempt to expand my horizons as an artist, I'm engaging in a number of daily exercises, all challenging my skills in various ways. Today's challenge is a ProjectRooftop piece, inspired by the art site of the same name, where comics' most favorite characters are reimagined/redesigned by hot new artists! This week's challenge: SUPERBOY!

The backstory for this piece is that as a training measure, Conner Kent has been sent to the future to train with the Legion of Superheroes. Adopting a suit similar to the other Legionnaires, Conner works to earn the Super-crest!
